Privacy Notice
Clear information about your information.
This notice explains what Comstock Data Solutions LLC collects through this website and how that information is handled.
Effective September 12, 2026
Comstock Data Solutions LLC (“Comstock,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This notice applies to comstockdata.com and information submitted through its contact form.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, institution or organization, work email address, area of interest, and message. Please do not submit passwords, credentials, regulated records, customer data, or other sensitive information.
Our hosting provider may also process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to your inquiry, understand potential service needs, protect the website, troubleshoot problems, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
How information is shared
Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, security, or analytics. They are expected to use the information only to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.
Cookies and analytics
The site stores your cookie preference locally on your device. If you choose to allow optional analytics, Vercel Web Analytics may process the page visited, referring page, browser and device information, and approximate location to provide aggregate site-use reports. Comstock does not use this information for advertising. You can revisit your selection at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the footer.
Interactive report demonstrations
The Report Showcase contains public Microsoft Power BI reports using synthetic data. Microsoft content loads when you choose to explore a report; it does not load just from viewing the showcase cards. When you open a report here or in a new tab, your browser connects to Microsoft, which may process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its privacy statement. This report interaction is separate from your optional website analytics preference.
Retention and security
Contact inquiries are retained only as long as reasonably needed for communication, business records, security, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. Use the contact form and identify the request as a privacy matter.
Children’s privacy
This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.
